Bilingual Referral Coordinator and Care Navigator


Axis for Autism is seeking a part-time or full-time bilingual Referral Coordinator and Care Navigator for our Phoenix office to support our clinically integrated network.

The Referral Coordinator and Care Navigator plays a crucial role in providing a positive, welcoming experience for our clients and their families.

This individual will serve as a guide for the clients from the moment they begin working with Axis.

Customer service is a vital part of this role, ensuring every client has a positive experience and has their needs met.


_Your Role at Axis for Autism:_

  • Guide patients and families through the healthcare process.
  • Confirm patient demographics and paperwork for accuracy, completion, and missing information.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits in accordance with patient insurance coverage for all patient office encounters and referral orders.
  • The position requires interaction with children, adults, their families and caregivers and the administration.
  • Additional client care and administrative tasks as needed

_Who You Are:
_


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative and healthcare experience within a highly professional environment.
  • Prior case management or care coordination experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of health insurance plans including reading plan requirements.


  • Bilingual

  • Spanish
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to and work with diverse backgrounds, human capabilities and limitations, and cultures.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and/or electronic medical record systems is beneficial.
  • Experience managing a team preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Adept at multitasking
  • Working knowledge of computer programs.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion
  • Works collaboratively and productively within a multidisciplinary team.
