Our goal is to create an engaging environment where all employees can fully develop themselves and their potential.Job Functions (Essential) Oversee, develop, coordinate, and implement quality control objectives and activities to resolve remanufacturing and overhaul product problems while maximizing product reliability and minimizing cost.
Respond to remanufacturing production quality calls with immediate corrective action.Leverage experience to develop long-range countermeasures through root cause analysis.
Make decisions on best way to process material and components based on condition found and received from the field of application and used components or engines.
Lead corrective actions for customer complaints and on-site inspections.Provide accurate and timely data and summaries to management regarding quality concerns.
Design and implement control plans, inspection plans and measuring equipment for quality control initiatives.
Select and procure gauges and measuring equipment for quality control initiatives.
Perform tool, machine and gauge capability studies.
Participate in product launches, prepare PPAP's, first article of inspections, FMEA and develop quality key characteristics.
Support the design of new processes and procedures for remanufacturing and overhaul processes with focus on quality control.
Lead change and coordinate problem solving efforts with respective personal.
Design and implement statistical process control programs for inspection purposes.
Write and distribute quality data reports.

Qualifications:
Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Required:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering and 5 years of experience related to mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or quality engineering with internal combustion engines; or 9 years of experience related to mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or quality engineering with internal combustion engines.
Excellent knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of remanufactured components and assembliesExcellent knowledge of quality control, raw materials, manufacturing processes, costs and other quality techniques for maximizing the effective production or remanufacturing components and assembliesExcellent analytical and problem-solving ability, where problems are complex.
Strong knowledge of calibration processes, GD&T and metrologyStrong ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others inside and outside departmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, and materialsStrong oral and written communication skillsGood presentation skillsProficient with PC and MS Office Suite Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture.
