POSITION INFO:

POSITION TITLE:
Designer - 1st shift 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Mon. - Fri.

LOCATION:
Stuarts Draft, VA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To create, modify and maintain documentation accurately describing tooling, electrical systems, machinery and/or process equipment in order to support the needs of engineering and production.

Prioritizing and organizing responsibilities to ensure all work in the department is done in an efficient, safe and acceptable manner.

Maintain good housekeeping and support all safety initiatives.

This position requires CAD Design utilizing UniGraphics software to update/alter/create engineering prints.

Prints include, but are not limited to:
Production Tooling, Electrical Wiring, Process updates, In-Process and Finished Goods. Requires a high degree of skill in design and understanding of fabrication of machinery and supporting equipment. Will work closely with the services teams, engineering and production personnel within the scope of assigned work.

EXPERIENCE:

Engineering experience preferred.

EDUCATION:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Associate's degree preferred.
