Our client in Hamburg is currently seeking a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for internal recruitment to work on combustion engines.

Your responsibilities as a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for combustion engines include:

  • Creating concepts and designs for engine and system components
  • Creating, documenting, approving, and maintaining CAD models and manufacturing drawings
  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Collaborating with all departments involved in development and processing
  • Coordinating with customers and suppliers

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge in the areas of design, manufacturing technology, engine construction, and materials science
  • Experience in designing engine components
  • Proficient in CAD programs
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent in German and preferably good English skills in spoken and written form
  • High level of commitment
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with colleagues, superiors, customers, and suppliers, as well as teamwork and flexibility, round off your profile
