Description

As a Backend Developer (m/f/d), you will be part of the R&D team at our headquarters in Immenstadt in the Allgäu region, responsible for developing the technical foundation of the Outdooractive platform. In addition to working with other departments to provide our users with new features, the team also manages server infrastructure, interfaces, data, and supports our Outdooractive API partners. Each team member plays an important role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and stability of our platform.

Your new job at Outdooractive

  • You will participate in requirements analysis, work together with the team to develop solutions and proposals, write concepts, and then implement them in various technologies - mainly with Java EE.
  • You will maintain and further develop existing complex web applications on our outdoor platform.
  • Through code reviews and test automation, you will maintain the quality of our products at a high level.
  • You will identify potential improvements to the infrastructure and continuously optimize it to make development even more efficient.

What Outdooractive expects from you

  • You have successfully completed your degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and have several years of professional experience in the field of Java Enterprise Edition application programming, particularly in relation to web applications on distributed servers.
  • You have broad expertise with current development environments, frameworks/tools
