The State Building Management Hannover is one of seven state construction offices in Lower Saxony and carries out construction projects for the state and federal government. With around 200 employees, we oversee more than 1,000 buildings in and around Hannover.

We are currently seeking permanent, full-time Engineers (m/f/d) in the field of building services engineering or technical building equipment for our departments of Operations Technology 2 and 3 at our Hannover location.

In this role, you will take on interesting and diverse tasks. You will plan and manage construction projects with technical operational content in interdisciplinary project teams and in collaboration with external engineering firms. You will also work closely with other planning disciplines to advance our future-oriented and climate-friendly projects with enthusiasm and alongside 200 other colleagues.

Your responsibilities:

  • Project management for building services engineering in complex construction projects
  • Client services, particularly quality, deadline, and cost control
  • Design, tendering, construction management, and billing of construction services according to LPH 1-9 and HOAI
  • Management of freelance engineering firms
  • Technical consultation and coordination with clients
