We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to perform inspections (and occasional repairs) of metal fire escape systems in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area.
We will offer job-specific training but you should be familiar and comfortable working with basic power tools, extension ladders, A-frame ladders, and climbing multi-story fire escapes.
Requirements of the job include (but are not limited to):- climbing ladders/fire escapes
- lifting and setting up extension ladders, up to 50 pounds overhead
- carrying heavy objects and retracting heavy ladders with crank handles
- cleaning, lubricating and servicing fire escape ladders
- replacing rusted parts
- painting finished work
- documenting work via phone app and field reports
- safely driving the work pickup truck
- communicating directly with clients and office staff
- other duties as assigned
Pay:
$ $32.00 per hour
