    Dahl Automotive is growing and is looking to add a Level 1 Network and Hardware Specialist to our team In this position for the company, you will work at all of our Dahl Central (Stevens Point and Rhinelander) locations setting up PC's and providing IT support for our teams, under the direction of our Director of Information Technology.


    Your responsibilities and contributions:


    Install, upgrade and repair Microsoft Windows PCs and laptops with standardized applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that develop in their operations.

    Installation duties may also entail configuring end user tablet and/or smartphone devices.

    Development and implementation of installation check list standardization practices for set up/configuration of Microsoft Windows PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

    Placement and/or installation of other network equipment utilized throughout the organization (IP phones, printers, scanners, signature pads, cameras, etc.).
    Maintain critical infrastructure on-site.
    Placement and/or installation of network equipment utilized throughout the organization (servers, switches, Phone Systems, etc.).
    Respond to user questions and explain the operation of network applications and equipment.
    Troubleshoot IT-related issues that arise, in conjunction with the external IT provider, when needed.
    Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to appropriate support vendors or technicians for service.

    Train select end user personnel for the purpose of ensuring their ability to use new and/or existing hardware and software.

    Identify IT equipment needs and present to appropriate leaders.
    Maintain IT infrastructure equipment on-site.

    Your qualifications

    Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills
    Pleasant and professional demeanor in all vendor and internal communications
    Ability to multi-task and work independently on daily tasks without direct supervision
    Valid drivers license and clean driving record
