Responsibilities Include:


  • Support the process with the team of researching and recommending the development of improved sample execution and timely product development of our footwear and related products
  • Utilize tools, processes and reports that address and improve all areas of Product Development and Quality Control
  • Understand harmonized tariff code definitions and restrictions to provide guidance on the construction of footwear to meet duty standards with the team
  • Support aesthetic Quality Control sample reviews to determine improvements needed on all products.
  • Maintain and Update U.S. quality control reports to that allows Ground Up to determine its partners that meet or fail to meet our quality expectations.
  • Communicate Quality Control issues and review findings with Ground Up's multiple departments to provide transparency and guidance when discussing our findings with customers and licensing partners.
  • Research the processes and standards of Ground Up's customers and licensing partners to make certain all products are compliant.
  • Maintain and Update sample development timeline reports and communicate concerns to avoid potential delays of product to Ground Up's customer and licensing partners.
  • Utilize technical detail spreadsheets and "tech packs"
  • Track deadlines for licensor, customer, and sample due dates. Communicate potential delays or upcoming due dates to make sure we are aligning the communication from multiple sources with our sales meeting dates and production deadlines.
  • Communicate necessary product revisions with multiple departments and offices to maintain accuracy of internal references and information.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree / Preferably in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or Fashion Production field
  • 1 years of experience in footwear product development or related experience
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience is a plus.

How to Apply

Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
