Job Summary:

Modern Health Home Care has full and part-time job openings for experienced, attentive, and trustworthy Home Health Aides.

Our certified Home Health Aides offer hourly and live-in non-medical services.


Caregiver Responsibilities:


  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, skincare, and other personal grooming activities.
  • Mobility and

Transfer Assistance:
Assist clients with mobility and transfer tasks, including getting in and out of bed, chairs, or wheelchairs. Assist with walking, using mobility aids, and maintaining proper body positioning.

  • Medication Reminders: Reminding clients to take their medications at the prescribed times.
  • Meal Preparation and Feeding: Help clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding. This may involve cooking, following dietary guidelines, and ensuring that clients receive proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up the client's living space, doing laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Companionship and

Emotional Support:
Provide companionship and emotional support to their clients.

Engage in conversations, play games, read books, accompany clients on walks, and provide social interaction to combat loneliness and isolation.


  • Observing and Reporting: Closely monitor clients' health conditions, changes in behavior, or any other concerns. They report any significant observations to the agency.
  • Documenting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate records of the care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in the client's condition.
  • Protects the agency by adhering to professional standards, agency policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Participates in personal and professional growth and development educational sessions.
  • Provides other related duties as required or directed by agency administration.
  • Properly clock in and out of your assigned shift.

Caregiver Requirements:


  • Vaccinated
  • Must possess a mobile phone
  • Pass a background check and TB Test
  • 1+ years of experience as a Home Health Aide strongly preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written
  • Possess a professional, friendly, and upbeat attitude
  • Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
