Customer Service / Paint-Construction Division

Job Summary:
Complies with all safety, quality control standards. Constructs and repairs structural woodwork or wood products by following contract specifications.


Essential Functions:

• Receives work orders from Production, Construction or Customer Service Division and actively participates in the completion of the work orders.
• Reviews labor and material needed for the job, determines allocated time to complete job and proper equipment needed to run job.
• Places material orders to appropriate vendors to secure project material prior to start date. Ensures orders are accurate and not excessive.
• Maintain detailed accurate records on projects to include payroll, materials purchased etc.
• Maintain current and accurate equipment inventory to protect company property. This includes construction tools/equipment located in the warehouse and in possession.
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget perimeters for labor and materials.
• Performs ongoing detailed inspections of work performed prior to the Quality Control Divisions final inspection.
• Assists Production and Sales with estimates as needed.
• Closely interact with Manager to resolve any problems relating to projects, employee concerns or customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responsible for processing all labor draws for their projects by Monday mornings, for work completed the week prior. Responsible for completing payroll information for field staff that may assist you.
• Responsible for employee's safety, and that company policies and procedures are at adhered to.
• Responsible for proper labeling/identification of equipment returned to the Warehouse.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors.
• Attends meetings as required.

Non-Essential Functions

• Assures that machinery and equipment for projects responsible for are properly maintained to prevent equipment loss or damages.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Carpentry skills
• Strong math aptitude required.
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to work flexible schedule when needed
• English/Spanish required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift lbs.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate tools and machinery.
• Sufficient physical agility to be able to crouch, twist, or work in areas with limited room.
• Ability to perform light maintenance, climb ladders and perform various types of manual labor.

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
