- Assists with coordination with other departments concerning food safety and food quality issues, enforces the FSQA policies and procedures.
- Drives Incident and complaint investigations/responses in assigned area
- Monitor adherence to USDA/HACCP regulations for sanitation (SSOP and SPS) including pre-operational and operational sanitation and personnel practices.
- Perform audits and process inspections for sanitation, quality, food safety, and other manufacturing and FSQA processes.
- Support change management requests and implementation as well as audits, investigations, and trace exercises
- Train team members as backups or alternate shift coverage
- Verification of effectiveness of preventative measures and corrective actions
- Escalation of issues to FSQA supervisor when needed
- Micro verification, product testing and sampling as needed
- Complete projects as assigned and manage individual performance plans
- Attend meetings and support tactical on the floor FSQA tasks
- Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must have basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft
- Outlook and Microsoft Excel
