    IT Program Manager - Hybrid in Columbia, SC - 1 Day Onsite

    Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for multiple work efforts of any size, from minimum complexity system/customer impacts to greater complexity system/customer impacts

    Manage a suite of projects in the Security & Compliance Portfolio to keep the organization safe. Working with teams to build systems, integrate software, or perform Proof-of-Concept or Research projects. PMO uses a mixture of tools, including Azure DevOps, MS Project, Excel, and home-grown software to manage projects, and will be moving to ServiceNow to manage projects more holistically in time.

    Duties:

    • Support the technical business needs of the customer and where one must be flexible to changing priorities.
    • Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation. Mentors other project leads and participates in the training and development of staff.
    • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for multiple work efforts of any size, from minimum complexity system/customer impacts to greater complexity system/customer impacts.
    • Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet ISSM expectations.
    • Monitors project plans, assignments, and work efforts daily. Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, and timeline issues. Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort.
    • Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation.
    • Mentors other project leads and participates in the training and development of staff.
    • Develops and monitors project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post-implementation. Ensures project documentation and deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and by standards.
    • Identifies items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort. Monitors resource requirements based on project specifications. Ensures resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted.
    • Coaches develops, and mentors other team members. May provide guidance and leadership to staff about training and department initiatives. May provide oversight for a group of work efforts as requested. May perform peer reviews of project artifacts.
    • Responsible for ensuring all work efforts have appropriate documentation for audit purposes utilizing project methodology standards under the ISSM.

    • Proven effectiveness in analyzing project triple constraints. Required Software and Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associates degree in any major. Required Work Experience: 7 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 4 years leading multiple concurrent project teams. Preferred Licenses and Certificates: PMP Certification
