Definition


The Turnaround Scheduler shall report to the Turnaround Project Manager during execution and the Turnaround Scheduling Supervisor during planning phase.

The scheduler is responsible for all aspects of his/her assigned project area throughout its life cycle.

Schedulers will walk down scope, verify progress, and coordinate with all parties to ensure the schedule reflects proper status and forecast.

During execution Schedulers with mobilize to the field and provided daily forecasts for the management team. All Turnaround Schedulers will ensure the current status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle.


Planning Phase
Develop proper scheduling infrastructure for each turnaround: activity codes, resources, WBS nodes, etc. in Primavera P6

Import jobs, tie logic, code, resource load/level all work in schedule

Facilitate schedule reviews with TMT and Ops

Work with planners and operations to develop decom/com plans for each system

Work with cost group and planners on histograms and start/stop dates of necessary contractors


Execution Phase
Contractor Onboarding

Follow assigned contractors/jobs and verify progress throughout all phases

Work with coordinators to monitor productivity of contractor throughout all phases

Monitor all contractor's safety practices

Monitor contractor's head count and insure it is appropriate for the work fronts

Work with inspections to identify any additional/discovery work

Coordinate with cost group on AWR cost.


Ongoing Efforts
Maintain clean and non-repetitious scheduling database

Maintain a safe and sanitary work place

Constantly monitor scheduling practices and suggest improvements where you see fit
