- Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory/Technical Assistant the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience within the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS).
- Handles bacterial culture and antigen preparation, as well as the culture and transplantation of human malignant B cell lines into SCID recipient mice.
- Treats transplanted mice or disease models with drugs, administering them twice daily via oral gavage or once daily via i.p. injection.

- Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years related research experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research experience in bacterial culture and antigen preparation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient skills in i.p. and s.c. injections and oral gavage of mice.
- Prior experience with magnetic and FACS sorting.
- Welltrained with flow cytometry and histological analyses.
- Requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of laboratory protocols.
