Head of Corporate Tax Compliance (m/w/d) in Spencerville, NM

Your responsibilities:

  • Tax declaration (review of annual financial statements, tax returns, financial and payroll accounting, support in objection/appeal proceedings and tax audits, tax accounting, and preparation of complex annual financial statements and tax returns)
  • Tax advisory services (e.g. conversions, expansions, mergers, ongoing tax optimization, taxefficient financing, postclosing matters, reviews of expert opinions/statements on corporate tax law and international tax law)
  • Direct contact person for clients and timely and efficient handling of matters
  • Independent management of consulting projects and professional leadership of project teams
  • Acquisition of new and followup clients, building your own network, and participation in publications and presentations at internal/external specialist events on current tax topics

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in economics, law, or finance, ideally with a focus on tax law or several years of professional experience as a tax specialist
  • Completed tax advisor exam at least two to three years ago
  • Several years of experience in advising large corporations, mediumsized companies, or family businesses, as well as in a comparable or preparatory role at a renowned auditing or tax consulting firm
  • Additional qualifications such as LL.M. Taxation, specialist in international tax law, a doctorate in tax law, and/or a stay abroad are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Indepth knowledge of corporate tax law and possibly international tax law,
