As a Doors and Windows Sales Representative at Kaslander Lumber, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and delivering exceptional service specifically tailored to doors and windows.

Based at our Newark location, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to fulfill their door and window requirements, providing expert recommendations, and ensuring a seamless purchasing experience.

This role requires an individual with a passion for sales, deep product knowledge, and outstanding communication skills.


Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Provide exemplary service to customers by understanding their needs related to doors and windows, offering expert advice, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the purchasing process.

Sales Generation: Actively pursue sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets. Proactively reach out to new and existing customers to promote our extensive range of doors and windows, leveraging upselling and cross-selling techniques where applicable.

Product Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of our doors and windows inventory, including various styles, materials, and features. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to effectively educate customers and address their inquiries.

Quoting and Pricing: Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes for doors and windows based on customer specifications. Negotiate pricing and terms to secure sales while maintaining profitability for the company.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders in the construction industry. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand your network and generate leads.

Order Management: Efficiently manage customer orders for doors and windows, ensuring timely processing and delivery. Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipments and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and sales growth.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the doors and windows industry or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong sales acumen and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep product knowledge of doors and windows, including various styles, materials, and installation requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
