Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Director of Lenti Virus Operations Optimization and Competitiveness to join our TEAM


Janssen Biotech, Inc., one of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Legend Biotech USA Inc., have entered into a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy.

This innovative strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR T platform and investigational treatment.


The Director Lenti Virus Operations Optimization and Competitiveness will report to the Lentivirus Operations Head and play a pivotal role in providing project, program, and organizational change to ensure execution of business processes that drive value creation.

This position will be responsible for leading all aspects of project/program management, organizational change, and leadership in process improvements and transformation efforts to drive cost competitiveness.

The Director will collaborate with cross-functional project teams and senior leaders to align key projects with business objectives and achieve defined critical metrics.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive the evolution of operational excellence systems and operating models to improve cost competitiveness.
  • Supervise critical metrics and communicate results and action plans to drive performance management.
  • Function as the Project and Change Leader for highly sophisticated projects/initiatives within the Lentivirus Operations scope.
  • Employ outstanding project management methodologies, including chartering, prioritizing, and developing, while maintaining the Lenti Virus Operations coordinate dated project plan.
  • Lead impactful project teams to achieve project objectives within scope, timely, and within budget.
  • Provide expertise in project risk management, contingency planning, risk registry, impact analyses, and mitigation design.
  • Employ robust stakeholder management across senior leaders and workstream leads, particularly within Technical and Supply Chain SMEs.
  • Successfully coordinate with and manage vendors, consultants, and external partners.
  • Ensure clear visibility of all projects to Lenti Virus Operations LT and key stakeholders.
  • Communicate project interdependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Address and prioritize projects and problem statements requiring attention in the future
  • Develop Lenti Virus Operations roadmap aligning short and longterm goals.
  • Lead Leadership Team meetings, including agenda, facilitation, notetaking, and followups.
  • Provide central reporting on local vs global considerations to leaders and functional dependencies.
  • Prepare for organizational and LT communications, ensuring message readiness and attendee confirmation.
  • Engage in workstreams and workshops for critical topics.
  • Ensure team engagement through global culture initiatives.

Qualifications:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business Administration, etc.). Advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:


Required:


  • A minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in project management and change management, within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or supply chain industry.
  • Experiences employing outstanding project management methodologies, and leading costeffective, resultsbased
  • Experience recommending process improvements to enhance program quality, and cost to leadership
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional project teams and collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in risk management, including the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in vendor and partner management.
  • Experiencing querying data from internal systems and translating the results into useful analysis.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred:


  • Work experience in Cell and/or Gene Therapy or Biologics space
  • Knowledege of best practices related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products to influence the development of initiatives for the Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Process Operations area.
  • EndtoEnd process vision within and across the operating mode
