We are seeking a Vice President of Finance.

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Finance will direct the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. Serves as a member of the Executive Team and will be responsible for Board of Directors financial reporting related to Piston Interiors LLC. This position serves as a crucial member of the Executive Team, providing financial insights and guidance for decision-making. In addition to managing financial planning and accounting, the VP of Finance leads supporting teams within Piston Interiors, driving profitable growth and operational excellence across all plants in the USA and Mexico. As a steward of fiscal responsibility, this role develops both long-term and short-term financial strategies, evaluating past performance trends to inform future actions. A key aspect of the VP of Finance's role is to collaborate closely with the President, offering financial expertise to guide strategic decisions and navigate challenging situations with transparency. By fostering strong teams and enhancing organizational capabilities, the VP of Finance positions the Finance team as valuable partners to the business. Furthermore, the VP of Finance actively contributes to crafting future business policies and practices by participating in the development of long-range and annual operating plans. Implementing initiatives to support growth, improve cost efficiency, and enhance operational effectiveness are integral responsibilities of this role. Overall, the VP of Finance plays a critical role in shaping the financial future of Piston Interiors LLC, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving sustainable success.

Specific Responsibilities:

Oversees and directs the Finance Departments for operations in the United States and Mexico.

Maintains ongoing business relationships with banking, legal, insurance, and accounting firms as required.

Supervises and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.

Guides the Finance team in implementing and directing procedures and computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and afford adequate accounting controls and services.

Directs the Finance team in activities such as custodianship of funds, securities, and assets of the organization.

Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.

Directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs.

Analyzes, consolidates, and oversees all cost accounting procedures along with other statistical and routine reports.

Supervises and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.

Analyzes operational issues affecting functional groups and determines their financial impact.

Evaluates and recommends business partnership opportunities.

Establishes and maintains contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community.

Develops and aligns long-range business, financial, and operating plans.

Serves as a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team to drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing action on risk assessment, business ventures, and cost control.

Leads all aspects of audit, internal controls, and governance functions as well as ownership of identification, assessment, and mitigation of business-wide risks.

Directs and leads all financial reporting and analysis needs. Ensures the accurate and timely closure of financial documents. Leads and facilitates report-outs to key internal stakeholders to review insights, financial drivers, and proactively provide recommendations designed to meet annual operating plan commitments.

Partners with the Executive Leadership Team to explore and identify revenue growth opportunities for the business.

Optimizes working capital to improve cash flow opportunities in conjunction with service operations and channel leaders.

Develops talent for the current and future needs of the business, including attracting, retaining, and developing top talent within the enabling support teams and throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications/ Skills:

Qualifications for the Vice President of Finance position:

A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant work experience.

A Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; a combination of education and experience will be considered.

Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

Proficiency in negotiation skills is essential.

Exceptional communication and presentation abilities are required.

Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Proficient in establishing policies, procedures, and controls.

Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.

Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines.

Proficiency in identifying and recommending process improvements.

Strong analytical skills to comprehend complex documents.

Effective response to sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Capable to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.

Proven ability to develop talent & redesign teams/structures to maximize effectiveness.

Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are indispensable.
