- Opportunity for Growth Job Details Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure.
- Develop and implement project budgets and schedules, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate all construction activities on the project site, ensuring compliance with design, project specifications, regulations, timelines, and budget.
- Supervise and direct the operations of subcontractors, ensuring they understand and adhere to the job scope and specifications.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure project is delivered within budget, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
- Conduct risk management practices to minimize project risks, implementing contingency plans where necessary.
- Manage procurement processes, liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing strict safety protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure project goals are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, reporting on project status to senior management
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a construction superintendent or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, cost control, risk management, and procurement.
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Excellent knowledge of construction safety laws and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading teams to success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
- Proficient in relevant construction software, such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, etc.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or a related field would be an advantage.
