We are gearing up for our grand opening (with training starting the second week of April and an estimated opening date in early May) and looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team.

Located in Central Phoenix, the Adobe Clubhouse at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a welcoming golf club atmosphere.

We want our members and guests to receive an unforgettable dining experience.

In addition to our Restaurant and Market, we will be hosting a variety of banquets and events in creating memorable experiences.


Job Summary

:


Under general supervision, the
Assistant Clubhouse Manager will partner with the Director of Clubhouse Operations and the Clubhouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of the clubhouse dining operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality experiences for members and guests.

This is a hands-on position.

Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities listed below are essential to the employee's position.


Operational

:


  • Assists the Clubhouse Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising all food and beverage operations within the Adobe Clubhouse.
  • Coordinates with Heart of the House staff to ensure food preparation and timely delivery of meals.
  • Supervise frontofhouse staff including servers, bussers, food runners, bartenders, greeters, and beverage cart attendances providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Seek consultation from management and human resources, as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to food and safety sanitations standards.
  • May be assigned to inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies for one or more areas.
  • Receives and handles complaints concerning food, beverages, or service. Reports issues to management.
  • Assures that all side work is accomplished and all cleaning of equipment and areas are completed according to schedule.
  • Crosstrains in all front of house positions.
  • May assist in implementing menus, promotions, and special events to enhance the dining experience.

  • Participates in meetings, taste tests, and training.
  • Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
  • Follow good personal hygiene guidelines.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 2 year's relevant restaurant assistant management working experience including supervision of front of house staff

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Required:
Position may utilize golf carts; thus, must have a valid driver's license.

Unexpired Arizona food certifications. Must be at least 19 years of age.

Must have a Manager Level Food Certification

Must have a Title 4 AZ Liquor Certification


Other

Regular attendance is required. Additional hours including weekends may be required on a regular basis to fulfill duties of position. Seeks approval before overtime is incurred. At times, an individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Work Environment
This position primarily works both indoors and outdoors. At times, extreme temperatures may be part of the environment.

Work requires exposure to temperatures sufficiently high to cause bodily discomfort. The noise level is usually moderate.

Schedules vary and may include weekends, holidays, etc. as determined by business needs.
