    Position Summary


    The Behavioral Health Specialist - PHP (BHS-PHP) is responsible for collaborating within the classroom team in the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective, individualized academic, behavioral and mental health programming for students.

    The BHS-PHP will also be responsible for co-facilitating groups and supporting their teammates with clinical documentation as needed

    Essential Responsibilities


    • To assure effective academic, behavioral and mental health programming for each student which results in progress and program completion.
    • To assure comprehensive documentation of all behavioral progress.
    • To assure the continuous safety of all students
    • To assure the continuing development of professional skills
    Qualifications


    • Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
    • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
    Working Conditions


    • Physical Demands. This position requires a moderate to high level of physical activity. Employee must meet minimum requirements for Hearing, Speech and Vision.
