Your tasks

  • In your role, you will conduct regular expediting visits to suppliers.
  • You will review and control the status of engineering, material procurement, and production.
  • You will analyze and comment on production schedules, material status lists, and drawing control lists.
  • You will also conduct actual vs. planned comparisons of progress with the supplier on-site or from the office.
  • You will identify delays in processing and develop options for possible corrective measures.
  • You will coordinate corrective measures with the relevant stakeholders and initiate appropriate escalation levels.
  • You will create expediting reports regarding potential issues or delays and take necessary actions in coordination with involved partners, such as project and technical purchasing
