Facility Maintenance Technician

As our company is growing and additional production shifts are in demand, we are seeking 1st shift Facility Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Melrose Park, IL.

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all facilities and grounds.


Shift hours are M-F:
7AM-3:30PM with weekends and overtime as necessary.


Position duties include but are not limited to the following:

• 
  External facilities maintenance such as:_
• Roofing, Flashings, downspout and gutters.
• Tuckpointing, brick and concrete repair.
• Storm sewer and triple basin sanitary cleanout
• Parking lot and black top tar repair
• Landscaping, grounds and lighting.
• Fencing, external safety.

Internal facilities maintenance such as:_

• Plumbing
• Sinks, Bathrooms, sanitary drains, 3 compartment sinks etc.
• Electrical
• Panels, Breakers, Outlets, light fixtures, minor electrical runs.
• HVAC both office and total facility. Air Handling Rooftop Units, Condensers.
• Refrigeration, nonammonia.
• Cosmetics such as drywall, painting, floor repairs both tile and polymer, ceiling tiles, window cleaning and repair.
• Employee Door locking mechanisms. Overhead door maintenance.
• Burglar, Fire and Sprinkler Alarm Systems
• Day to day operation and maintenance of boilers and water treatment equipment
• Air Compressor equipment.
• Kitchen, dining, cafeteria equipment.
• Telecom, internet, wifi and wiring.
• General facility maintenance.

Requirements:

• 3 yrs Maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Tools required.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

Compensation:

• Pay range $35$50/hr and is based on experience.
