    We seek a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department in developing and implementing HR strategies aligning with our organization's goals and objectives.

    As the Director of Strategic HR, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout multiple entities and divisions within the Enterprise.

    Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive work culture while driving initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

    Additionally, you will collaborate with senior management to ensure HR practices support the organization's overall success.

    A successful candidate must be able to:

    Employee Relations:
    Managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee concerns.

    Performance Management:
    Establishing performance appraisal systems, providing feedback to employees, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    Developing and administering compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

    HR Policies and Procedures:

    Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with employment laws and regulations.


    Compliance:

    Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, monitoring changes in legislation and adapting HR practices accordingly.


    Strategic Planning:
    Collaborating with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

    Employee Engagement:
    Promoting a positive and inclusive work culture, fostering employee engagement, and addressing team member concerns and feedback.

    HR Administration:
    Overseeing administrative tasks such as maintaining team member records, managing HR budgets, and overseeing HR technology systems.

    Organizational Development:
    Building an HR department structure that supports entity growth for the enterprise

    All other duties as assigned.


    A successful candidate will demonstrate:


    Ability to lead and inspire the HR team and influence and collaborate with senior management and other departments within the organization.

    Capacity to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and contribute to its overall success.


    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to team members at all levels of the organization.


    Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members, handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism, and foster a positive work environment.


    Aptitude for identifying HR-related issues and developing creative solutions to address them while considering the needs of both the team member and the organization.

    Commitment to upholding high ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring fairness and equity in HR practices and decisions.

    Flexibility to navigate changes in the business environment, adapt HR strategies accordingly, and respond effectively to evolving organizational needs.


    Ability to analyze HR data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.


    Capacity to make sound and timely decisions, particularly in complex or high-pressure situations, while considering the potential impact on team members and the organization as a whole.


    Dedication to understanding the needs of team members and stakeholders, providing responsive HR support and services, and continuously seeking ways to enhance the employee experience.


    Qualifications:
    15+ years proven experience as an HR thought leader for a medium to large sized organization.

    Working knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management or equivalent work experience.


    Physical Requirements:


    This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities.
