    OverviewJoin our dynamic software engineering team at Spok We seek a passionate and innovative Junior Software Engineer to contribute to our projects in Platform and Alerting. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or those with a few years of experience to grow their skills in a cutting-edge environment.Responsibilities>Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable enterprise event processing and workflow messaging platform that integrates with best in the class third-party systems.>Collaborate to develop and integrate with APIs that empower to share and utilize their medical data in partner systems.>Identify bottlenecks and defects, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.>Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.>Produce or maintain technical documentation of features.>Stay up-to-date with trends in emerging software engineering, telephony, and networking technologies.Required Education, Skills & Experience>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.>1-3 years of experience in software development.>Strong proficiency in client and native-side programming languages, C++, C#, and JavaScript, dotnet core.>Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.>Knowledge of database management and basic architecture principles.>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Why Spok?>A collaborative and inclusive work environment.>Opportunities for professional growth and development.>Access to cutting-edge technology and tools.>Flexible working hours and remote work opportunities.>Competitive salary and benefits package.
