JOB SUMMARY

The Upper School Student Life Coordinator supports all aspects of student life including activities, events and other duties and works closely with the Upper School Director of Student Equity and Engagement and Upper School Program Manager. The Upper School Student Life and Program Coordinator plays a vital role in providing a robust and well-balanced calendar of activities for students during the school day, and some evenings and weekends. They work with the Upper School Director of Student Equity and Engagement to balance multiple co-curricular schedules, providing opportunities for community building, exploration, engagement, and fun for the student population.

STUDENT LIFE

The Upper School Student Life and Program Coordinator is responsible for the following:

Oversees Student Government and all areas of focus
  • Spirit, Community Engagement, Finance, Equity and Inclusion, and Communications

Creates, coordinates, actively maintains, and communicates the Upper School activity calendar in collaboration with Student Government and the US DoSEE while ensuring PAC participation, maintaining equipment, gathering input from relevant constituencies (faculty, student government, students), and arranging all facility and/or bus reservations
:

Supports and executes duties as assigned by the DoSEE including but not limited to mandatory study hall, US Assembly, Student Discipline and PAC supervision oversight
:

Manages and attends all major school events such as Homecoming, Winter Formal, Lunar New Year Banquet, Prom, Spring Dance, and Fun in the Sun

UPPER SCHOOL OPERATIONS

The Upper School Student Life Coordinator is responsible for the following:

Oversees some office hours and lunches to ensure students are following rules and cleaning up after themselves:

Participates in and supports broader student life programs, events, and initiatives such as clubs and affinity/ally spaces:

-
Regularly confers and collaborates with the Admission Office, Grade Level Leads, students, and PAC to gather information about and monitor student needs, preferences, and priorities:

- **Supports the US Program Manager with planning and logistics for school-wide events including but not limited to convocation, graduation, BTSN
