Wilson Elser's New York Midtown office currently seeks a Paralegal Clerk.


This is an excellent position for those seeking to gain experience with an office of a national law firm, especially for those considering attending law school in - 3 years.

The Position


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior professional or office experience; experience with a law firm is a plus
  • Able to selfprioritize and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong verbal (including telephone) and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects for different attorneys
  • Must demonstrate the ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Must communicate and cooperate with all members of a case team
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare medical record requests
  • Maintain spreadsheets tracking document requests and completions
  • Telephone medical providers to request medical records
  • Organize and maintain case files
  • Review incoming medical records for accuracy
  • Update electronic files

The annualized salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
