Are you passionate about IT security and enjoy analyzing threats? Do you want to protect our managed customers from dubious activities and cyber criminals, and support our customer advisors in IT security incidents? Then join our internal "Security Operations" and become part of our team at our Bochum location or remotely as an IT Security Analyst (m/f/d).

Your tasks

You monitor the system landscape of our customers and respond to threats
You independently resolve threats on our customers' computers
In case of emergency, you make necessary security-related configuration changes and conduct initial error analyses independently
You document identified IT security incidents and support in their evaluation and escalation
You write automation rules to process future detections of our technologies faster
You provide our customers with recommendations for action after analyzing security incidents
You support our customer advisors with questions from customers
You participate in various IT projects

Your profile

You have completed training as an IT specialist for application development (m/f/d), as an IT assistant (m/f/d), or have a comparable qualification
You have a good sense for identifying problem causes in system landscapes and have the ability to resolve them
You ideally have knowledge of IT security and are familiar with IT security measures
You are open and willing to
