TITLE:
CALL CENTER MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE


REPORTS TO:
VP/MEMBER SERVICES/MSR SUPERVISOR/CEOGENERAL SUMMARY
Project a positive image as representative for the credit union in assisting members with questions and problems. Ensure the highest quality of member service at all times. Perform routine member transactions and cross-selling opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Comply with Credit Union Policies and Procedures

  • Answer telephone, disseminate information or resolve member questions and solving problems by explaining account options on various Savings, Checking, C/D's, IRA's ACH, Share Draft, MAC, Home Banking and Speedy Access.
  • Take CD orders, answer IRA questions, Stop Payments, ordering MAC cards, all aspects of MAC and Virtual Branch.
  • Assist members with questions and problems on new and closed accounts.
  • Responsible for assisting members on full range of consumer loans, visa and mortgage loans. Assist with delinquency questions.
  • The Call-Center is to be selfsufficient and complete the call at this level.
  • Cross sell Credit Union services over the phone by knowing, understanding, explaining and promoting services to members.
  • Will be required to rotate in Call Center on Saturdays.
  • Responsible for researching member inquiries or complaints to ensure proper followup and member satisfaction
  • Ensure that all credit union member and employeerelated business is kept in the strictest confidence
  • Treat all credit union members and employees with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Perform other functions as required by the VP/Member Services/MSR Supervisor/CEO

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Requires professional welldeveloped interpersonal skills necessary for communicating with members on Credit Union related matters.
  • Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services and policies.
  • Must be able to represent the Credit Union well, answer questions, find appropriate sources of information and maintain a pleasant disposition
  • Selfstarter works well under mínimal supervision, good communicator and problem solver.
  • Requires at least 3 years of experience in a financial institution.
  • May need to travel for additional training as needed.

Pay:
From $16.00 per hour

  • Wyoming, PA: Relocate before starting work (required)
