Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Perform maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems, robotic welders, and other industrial automation equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and wiring
  • Conduct machine safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Utilize ERP software to track maintenance activities and inventory
  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment
  • Coordinates maintenance activities with production control, tool room and quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower, machine and equipment
  • Reviews and analyzes production, quality maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of production problems
  • Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variances with supervisors and other maintenance associates
  • Consults with production personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products
  • Coordinate with Tool Crib Attendants and Maintenance Planner on purchase orders for tools, parts, and equipment as needed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and policies in the plant at all times
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment and report out at the QOS meetings
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping habits (5S)
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, and safety hazards
  • Actively participate in Production, 5Why/RCA, and other problem solving meetings
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Associate's degree in related field is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English is required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of HMI and PLC systems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift licensed
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job

Special Note - Location and Schedule:


  • Monday

  • Friday 2:00pm
  • 10:30pm ($1.00/hr differential)


  • Sunday

  • Thursday 10:00pm 6:30am ($1.00/hr differential)
  • Work schedules available when transferred to Decatur, TN (starting April 2024):


  • Monday

  • Friday 5:00am
  • 1:30pm


  • Monday
- Friday 5:00pm - 1:30am ($1.00/hr differential)
