Low Voltage Technician

Location:

Salary:
Starting at $50,000 annually (May vary based on experience)

As a Low Voltage Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations.

Your responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and repairing low-voltage systems such as security systems, CCTV, access control, and audiovisual equipment.

You will collaborate with our team to ensure installations meet specifications and comply with safety regulations.

Key Duties:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair lowvoltage systems, such as security systems, CCTV, access control, motion detectors, electric locks, door position sensors, and audiovisual equipment.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine ideal installation procedures.
Test and inspect tools, equipment, safety gear, and electrical systems to guarantee functionality and safety compliance.
Coordinate with fellow technicians and contractors to facilitate installations and resolve any arising issues.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of lowvoltage installation and wiring.

Fiber optic
cable knowledge, fiber optic cable splicing skill strongly preferred.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs.
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Excellent problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Additional Skills (a plus):

Experience with electrical systems and wiring.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs.
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Excellent problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
