  • Monitor food production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal service for large events or catering functions.

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment as a cook or chef.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy pots or containers.
