As a Berlin-based boutique personnel consultancy, we are searching on behalf of our client, a company in the heart of Berlin with an exciting European expansion strategy, for the right individual to fill the position of Teamlead/Head of Accounting (m/f/d) in Sorrento, LA.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for accounting and specific taxrelated topics
Leadership and development of team members
Management of accounting tasks (AP, AR, GL)
Preparation of monthly VAT returns
Creation of monthly reporting and annual financial statements according to HGB, including account consolidation
Coordination with external partners (tax consultants, auditors, tax authorities, etc.)
Liaison with Treasury and Controlling for comprehensive company management
Transformation of accounting processes and change management
Further development of ERP system for the accounting department

Qualifications:

Completed training as a tax clerk or similar, or a degree in business administration with several years of experience as a (Senior) Accountant
Ideally, previous experience as a team leader
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and common ERP systems
Fluent in German, good knowledge of English is desirable
