Job Title:
Cultural Adaptation Advisor


Location:
Towaco, NJ


Duties:


  • Provide Cultural Adaptation and Foreign-Born Family support services for Army Community Service (ACS) in Towaco, NJ. This includes organizing local community tours, offering German language courses, ESL courses, and hosting multicultural activities.
  • Contribute to the monthly integrated community calendar for the Cross Cultural Adaptation Program.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for all services provided under this contract.
  • Coordinate class schedules with the Relocation Readiness Program Manager on a quarterly basis.
  • Create a class roster in CTS before each session.
  • Offer Interactive Customer Evaluations (ICE) forms to each customer at the end of each class cycle, workshop, or individual interaction during office hours.
  • Provide monthly statistics to the program manager.
  • Meet weekly with the Relocation Readiness Program Manager to discuss program statistics and progress, either in person or via phone.
  • Interact with customers and staff in a professional manner, following military customs and courtesies.

Education & Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with military families or community outreach programs.
  • Must have a C2 level of proficiency in the German language.
