    Key Responsibilities

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for caring Certified Medication Aides to assist our community's residents with daily tasks they may struggle with. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be in charge of administering medications, monitoring residents, reporting any changes, and collecting samples.

    The ideal candidate for this role will be highly detail-oriented, with extensive knowledge of resident care procedures. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for providing top-notch resident care.

    What You'll Do

    • Deliver routine medications to residents and record dosages and times.
    • Observe residents and document condition changes.
    • Collect samples for analysis and ensure equipment is clean.
    • Adhere to health and safety standards and follow regulations.
    • Coordinate with nurses for resident care.
    • Follow instructions for managing medications.
    • Respond to resident needs promptly.
    • Protect client information and seek guidance when needed.

    What You'll Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Certified medication aide with at least 1 year of experience.
    • Flexible schedule availability.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • CPR/First Aid Certification desired.
    • Previous long-term care experience preferred.
    • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
    • Emotional intelligence and listening skills.
    • Dedication to elderly care.
    • Pass required background checks and drug tests.
