    Job DescriptionJoin a Winning TeamA nationally recognized and growing insurance defense firm is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join a collaborative team in Garden City, NY. They are known for their exceptional work environment, commitment to professional development, and focus on client success. This is a hybrid role with a 37.5 workweek, offering 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after a comprehensive training period.
    Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys in all phases of complex litigation matters. You will leverage your strong legal acumen and experience to assist with tasks including:
    • Drafting and responding to discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, etc.)
    • Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda of law
    • Organizing, summarizing, and analyzing case documents and exhibits
    • Preparing witness materials for depositions and trial
    • Assisting with trial preparation and presentation

    You Have the Skills We Need
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in insurance defense
    • Proven ability to draft clear, concise, and accurate legal documents
    • Strong legal research and writing skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Team player with a collaborative work style
