Duties:


  • Advise command leadership on all matters pertaining to security and Foreign Disclosure.
  • Serves as a Security Specialist with multiple assigned responsibilities for personnel security, information security, and foreign disclosure.
  • Provide input on operating standards concerning Foreign Disclosure, information, personnel, and industrial security issues to the Command to ensure compliance.

  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • Threeyear probationary period may be required.
  • The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted.

Qualifications:


Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:1) Serves as a Security Specialist with multiple assigned responsibilities for managing personnel security, information security, and foreign disclosure programs. 2)Advise, recommend, plan, develop and issue guidance to personnel regarding the handling and safeguarding of classified material to prevent unauthorized disclosure. 3) Conduct briefings, orientations, security inspections and other security awareness efforts related to the access of classified and sensitive material. 4) Determines and implements specific command guidance and actions to correct security deficiencies, overcome vague or competing requirements and promote the growth of sound security procedures. 5) Coordinates specific disclosure actions to foreign governments and international organizations in support of approved U.S. Army international programs.
