Description
We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to assist with overseeing a contract aimed at serving the re-entry population.The role involves facilitating meetings with sub-grantees and community stakeholders, program monitoring, and budget management, as well as preparing comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (May include but is not limited to the following):
- Oversee the implementation of the re-entry program contract, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Facilitate regular meetings with subgrantees to assess progress, address challenges, and strategize solutions.
- Coordinate with community members and organizations to foster collaboration and maximize program impact.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support program objectives.
- Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports on project activities, outcomes, and financial status.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with contract and organizational goals and priorities.
- Stay updated on relevant policies, regulations, and best practices in reentry programs and project management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Familiarity with issues related to the reentry population and criminal justice system preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent customer relations, and written and verbal communication skills to work with, internal staff and other agencies.
- Ability to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure; be flexible; act independently and exercise sound judgment in all matters.
- Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Must possess professional and confidentiality skills, in individual and group situations; and excellent oral and written communication skills, in person,
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, public administration, or project management.
- Any combination equivalent to: a four year degree from an accredited college with major course work in field related to assignment
- Experience working with persons of diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
