Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.

The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating power press machines to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal plates and sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Trumpf press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten coldrolled and stainlesssteel materials
Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine the specific requirements for each job
Select and install the appropriate tooling based on the job requirements
Monitor the machine during operation to ensure it is running correctly
Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
Make adjustments to the machine as needed for different jobs
Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine

Skills:

Experience in operating CNC press brake machines
Knowledge of tooling and fabrication techniques
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with laser cutting machines is a plus
Basic programming skills for machine setup
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues
Proficiency in using hand tools
