Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating saw equipment to cut various materials in a manufacturing setting.
- Receive incoming material and maintain stock
- Operate and maintain saw equipment efficiently and safely
- Read and interpret work orders to determine specific cuts required
- Adjust saw settings to ensure accurate cuts according to specifications
- Inspect materials for defects before cutting
- Monitor the quality of cuts and make adjustments as necessary
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate saw equipment effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Operating fork trucks is required
- Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
