As an Test Technician, you would play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our customer' test programs at KEMA Labs

  • Chalfont.

The primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and safely set up test fixtures, equipment, and auxiliary power based on test requirements and facility status.
  • Troubleshoot and fix equipment malfunctions or performance issues during testing.
  • Review test plans and drawings and execute test preparation.
  • Provide feedback to the test engineers during testing.
  • Safely dismantle test setups and restore the test area after testing.
  • Communicate with the customers during testing activities.
  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping task as needed.
  • Operate equipment such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • Support test engineers, technicians, and other personnel as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of procedures, manuals, and equipment for testing.
  • Effectively use electronical diagnostics tools and maintenance equipment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • 2 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical construction
  • High and medium voltage electrical/mechanical equipment maintenance and installations
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods for electrical equipment.
  • High regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role demands adaptability, requiring individuals to navigate, shifting workloads, meet customer demands, and align with management priorities. Dedication is crucial to achieving both short-term and long-term organizational goals.

This position may be required to work alternative shifts as necessary including weekends. This position may be required to work overtime as necessary. This position is hourly and non-exempt from overtime.

The work environment includes exposure to industrial settings, such as machinery and outdoor conditions.
