In your day-to-day role in a position at PayPal, you will:

  • Collaborate with your fellow engineers on design principles and best practices.
  • Recognize, validate, and evangelize emerging technologies and architectures that align with business objectives.
  • Lead or colead small and midsized projects endtoend. You will help define the design, identify stakeholders, navigate risks, obstacles, and changes, coordinate the work of your colleagues, implement, advertise and overall be the guarantor of the project delivery on time and on quality.

What do you need to bring in a position at PayPal:

  • Hands-on experience with designing, implementing, and supporting global-scale services.
  • Handson experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions from AWS (or similar cloud provider).
  • Handson programming in one of the following Python, Javascript, Kotlin, Swift, etc.
