This is a full-time position as an employee of our Multi-State Construction client and REQUIRES commuting to in the Sparks, NV area.

What you will be doing:
As the Construction Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the modification, implementation, management and overall direction and oversight of Health and Safety (H&S) programs, strategy, and staff activities along with related organizational performance standards across NV, CA and HI.
You will guide, coach, mentor and support your all employees on how to protect themselves, each other and company assets in the most productive and efficient manner.
Minimum Requirements:
All potential candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, employer sponsorship is not available.
from an accredited College / University
in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline
Five (5) or more years of Safety experience in a construction environment
CHST or CSP certification
Demonstrated experience with construction occupational safety risks including, but not limited to, crane rigging and lifting, fall from heights, lift trucks, trenching and excavation, hot work and confined space.
Demonstrated knowledge in development of Job Safety and Job Hazard analysis (JHA and JSA)Demonstrated success driving safety metrics
Demonstrated success leading accident / incident investigations
Ability to travel 50-75%+
Major Responsibilities:
Partner with site leadership and serve as SME regarding interpretation of federal, state and local regulations
Aligns corporate and local Safety goals and strategies
Lead Safety audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed
Build and maintain positive relationships with federal, state and local regulators
Lead employee training programs regarding Safe Working behaviors and compliance
Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local Safety regulations
