St. Michael's Catholic Preparatory School (formerly St. Michael's Catholic Academy + St. Gabriel's Catholic School) is an outstanding co-educational Independent Catholic school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in Austin, Texas. The Lower School comprises PreK 3-4th grades, the Middle School houses grades 5-8, and the Upper School contains grades 9-12. St. Michael's Prep is a Christ-centered, college-preparatory learning community, inspiring lives of service, courage, personal integrity, and intellectual curiosity. We are distinguished by our Catholic tradition, a welcoming and diverse community, excellent academic programs and a variety of extracurricular activities.
Summary:
The After School Assistant fulfills the mission of St. Michael's Preparatory Catholic School by assisting the Auxiliary Department in the execution and operation of all after-school activities, including, but not limited to, Saber Kids, After-School Enrichment, the Campus Store, and Facility Rentals. The ideal candidate will be asked to open the campus store daily, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the lower school campus. From 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. The ideal candidate will welcome parents and guests at the front desk of the lower school campus. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be asked to occasionally open the concession stand during high school athletic events and serve as the Admin on Duty during weekend facility rentals. The position is hired and evaluated by the Director of Auxiliary Programs. This is a part-time, hourly position and will not qualify for benefits hours/week).
