    The Opportunity

    Fisher College seeks an experienced College Registrar to direct and coordinate college registration activities as follows:


    • Analyzes statistical data on registration for administrative use in formulating policies.
    • Directs preparation of student transcripts and commencement list and commencement activities.
    • Directs preparation of accurate statistical reports on educational activities for government and educational agencies and interprets registration policies to faculty and students.
    • Directs activities of workers engaged in transcribing and evaluating academic records of students applying for permission to enter college or university.
    • Coordinates dissemination of information on courses offered and registration procedures.
    • Act as institutional FERPA compliance officer.
    • Manage college "student educational record" storage and digitalization within all legal guidelines.
    • Manage collection and storage of all academic programs and other student and academic information stored within the student information system.
    • Coordinates Academic Calendars for all divisions.
    • Coordinates class schedules with room assignments for optimum use of buildings and equipment.
    • Participates in major college committees including enrollment management, data integrity and curriculum.
    • Oversees all operations in the transfer credit process (evaluation of transcripts, transfer credit evaluations, posting of credits)
    • Supervises, trains, coordinates, and evaluates activities of the Registrar's Office staff.
    • Responsible for the management of all processes and records related to student withdrawal, substitutions, and waivers.
    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Directly supervises employees in the Registrar's Office.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:


    Master's degree or equivalent, with four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience with student information systems and understanding of relational databases is required. Knowledge of SCAN Campus Café preferred. Experience with Crystal reporting or other reporting tools required. Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to students is necessary.
