The Department of State Hospitals Napa is looking for Nurse Instructors to join us in training employees who provide excellent evaluations and treatment to California's most vulnerable population-those struggling with severe mental illness. We will consider a for a Teaching and Development position.
BENEFITS: working for DSH-Napa includes state-sponsored health insurance, dental and vision plans. Employees are eligible for several types of time off, including 11 holidays, paid vacation, sick leave, annual leave, as well as professional development days for rank and file employees. State employees also have excellent retirement and pension options.
Desirable qualifications include DSD certification, one year experience working in skilled nursing, teaching in a community college psychiatric technician training program, teaching credential, and/or a BSN degree, Training and Development and two years recent experience in psychiatric nursing. We would also consider a Teaching and Assignment position.
