- Collaborate with both senior and junior graphic designers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to excel in their roles.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the design team.
- Communicate effectively with the graphic design team, delegating tasks and assignments.
- Monitor project progress and maintain high-quality standards throughout the design process.
- Develop assets for live events, including digital ads, social media ads, program ads, signage, flyers, trifolds, and one-sheets.
- Ensure that all designs align with GalaxyCon's brand identity and vision.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to yourself and other team members based on urgency and impact.
- Review graphics created by the team for approval using tools like Filestage.
- Conduct secondary checks before scheduled go-live dates, providing constructive feedback and corrections.
- Design program guides, special event badges, and posters for both live and virtual events to ensure the materials are informative, attractive and aligned with the event theme.Regularly review contract documents to verify new guest additions.
- Add relevant information to Trello boards for staging and assignment.
- Other job duties as assigned
- A graphic design qualification or similar.
- A portfolio of completed design projects that demonstrate your creativity and skills.
- At least 4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the entertainment, media, or events industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading and managing graphic design teams.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
- Familiar with filestage, Trello, Google Drive, and other collaboration tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- A passion for comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more
- A willingness and ability to travel to GalaxyCon events, which may require working on weekends and holidays

We are looking for a junior and senior graphic designer to join our graphic design team in creating stunning and captivating designs for our live and virtual events.
This position requires you to be on-site in our Fort Lauderdale offices, this is not a remote position.
