- Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating the company's safety policies and standards which support efforts towards an injury-free goal
- Identify and work to correct potential hazards and unsafe work conditions.
- Assist with incident investigations and implementation of effective solutions.
- Assist in completing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and attend EH&S toolbox safety meetings.
- Help lead Operational Excellence initiatives in conjunction with the EHS Vice President and EHS Manager.
- Current Construction, Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
- Minimum of 10 years of training, safety, or gas distribution experience.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and industry standards preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in gas distribution operator qualifications standards preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite required.
- OSHA 500, or 510 certifications preferred.
- Experience in HDD, Oil & Gas, or similar industries preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal, state and industry requirements to resolve compliance issues.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily workload, follow, and promote policies/ procedures, and maintain company confidentiality.
- Experience in developing technical programs in accordance with industry requirements and conducting training sessions with field employees to support operations.
