Electronics Repair Technician I
Orlando, FL (Onsite)


Position Summary
Thales is looking for a
Repair Technician I who will support the team in repairing electronic equipment.

You will work closely with senior technicians to learn and implement repair procedures and contribute to the overall efficiency of the cell.

In this position, your responsibilities include assisting with shop activities, maintaining consumable inventories, and collaborating with team members. This position provides a valuable learning opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to the team's success.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair: Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic equipment issues under the guidance of senior technicians. Perform basic repairs and replacements following established procedures and guidelines. Support senior technicians in organizing and conducting training sessions for skill development.
  • Shop Activities Assistance: Assist in monitoring daily shop activities, helping to identify and report any issues or equipment malfunctions. Follow instructions and work plans provided by senior technicians to meet production and training requirements. Assist in maintaining equipment status records and reporting issues as needed.
  • Process Support: Support senior technicians in implementing best practices and process improvements as directed. Assist in enhancing product documentation and repair procedures under supervision. Participate in material shortage assessments and requests as assigned.
  • Consumables Management: Assist in monitoring consumable inventory and replenishment under the guidance of senior technicians. Help ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals. Follow instructions for managing shop supplies and placing orders as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks. Collaborate with colleagues and crossfunctional teams to resolve issues and complete assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 02 years of work experience.
  • Capable of working flexible shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any area in Repair or Production, as necessary.
  • Must be well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets Thales' insurance standards. Must pass a 7year background check and drug test
